3. It's super portable and super accessible
A game of Verdict of Valor requires a battlefield area as small as 20" x 20", less than an hour of game time, and 4 to 12 miniatures per player, making it one of the most portable and accessible tabletop miniatures games around.
4. It's a simple but deeply strategic game
The game cycle of Verdict of Valor is made of three phases: Dice Pool, Orders and Activations. During the Dice Pool phase, both players prepare their dice, based on the number of models in their warband and the agreed point value for the battle. During the Orders phase, players take turns assigning 1 to 3 dice from their pool to their miniatures on the battlefield, one miniature at a time. This is when you plan your strategy, and try to counter your opponent's scheme as you see them placing their dice. During the Activations phase, players take turns activating their minis: each assigned die becomes an action: move, shoot, attack, etc.
